Birthday lunches

Today is a overcast gloomy day, it is raining, sleeting, and snowing alittle. Was it not just 80 degrees a few days ago. What this weather pattern does for ones sinuses. I am going to lunch with my friend from church to celebrate Diane's birthday today. We try and go out for all of our birthdays just the girls, we missed Katie's this past year, her mother got sick and passed away and things just spiraled from there. This time will be a little different, the last time we went out was in June for mine and Rhonda's birthday. Rhonda's sister Myra told us next time we went she wanted to go, today Myra is flying to Houston, to see a cancer specialist. She is leaving this afternoon so Rhonda didn't tell her we were going to lunch. From the worlds view point, things are not looking good for Myra, from God's view point he is in control. I have asked for healing, I have asked for peace, I have asked for Myra not to be in pain, to comfort Gray, help Jake and Hannah deal with all that is going on from far away, for Harold, who when you look at him you see his sadness, for Rhonda, who is still dealing with the lost of their mother , and for Myra's church, she told them yesterday all her results from test taken and her immediate plans. We will celebrate friendship today as well as a birthday, there will be some sadness but we have hope for we know who does miracles and who is the great healer..
